Job Description
The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for performing routine food safety and quality checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards. This role focuses on basic monitoring, inspections, and data collection to support food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform product temperature checks throughout production.
- Conduct ATP equipment hygiene checks.
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and sanitation readiness.
- Perform Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspections.
- Conduct sanitizer concentration verification.
- Measure pH and salt concentrations.
- Perform pre-operational inspections prior to production start-up.
- Verify water temperatures to ensure compliance.
- Accurately document all results and report deviations to QA leadership.

- Experience in the meat industry

Work Environment
This position offers the opportunity for long-term growth after a six-month contract duration.

This is a Contract position based out of Carson, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.85 - $23.77/hr.
