Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Social Media & E-commerce Data Entry Specialist. This hybrid role supports both our digital marketing efforts and online product catalog. The ideal candidate must be comfortable creating engaging social media content, as well as maintaining accurate, organized product listings on our e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media (50%)
- Develop and schedule content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Create compelling posts promoting firefighter gear, new arrivals, sales
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online community
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns & promotions
- Monitor analytics to track performance and improve future content
- Stay updated on fire industry trends and adjust content strategy accordingly
E-commerce Data Entry (50%)
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate product data including SKUs, pricing, images & descriptions
- Format product listings to ensure clarity, consistency, and SEO best practices
- Organize products into appropriate categories and filters for easy browsing
- Collaborate with purchasing and customer service
- Perform routine audits to identify and correct errors in product data
- Assist in preparing bulk uploads and managing product updates from vendors
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management and/or e-commerce data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient with tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic image editing
- Experience with e-commerce
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, communication skills and basic knowledge of SEO best practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently and juggle multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with email marketing tools, Google Analytics
- Video/Image editing skills
- Knowledge of B2B e-commerce and customer purchasing behavior
