Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician with hands-on experience in Tridium Niagara N4, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric building automation systems. This role involves installing, programming, commissioning, and servicing BAS and HVAC control systems in commercial and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter with solid controls knowledge and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and commission HVAC control systems, BAS devices, and networked controllers
• Program and troubleshoot Niagara N4, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric control platforms
• Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
• Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on BAS equipment
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and electricians on installations
• Document as-built changes and prepare service and commissioning reports
• Provide technical support, system walk-throughs, and basic end-user training

Requirements

• Three or more years of BAS or HVAC controls installation, programming, or service experience
• Hands-on knowledge of Niagara N4, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric systems
• Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals and control strategies
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, riser diagrams, and submittals
• Familiarity with low-voltage wiring, terminations, and communication networks
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred Skills
• Niagara N4 certification or OEM training
• Experience with energy dashboards or analytics platforms
• Basic networking knowledge such as IP addressing and switches
• Experience with BAS retrofits, system upgrades, or integrations
