We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead a high performing sales team in the commercial and industrial roofing sector. - Lead and support the sales team to meet revenue goals and drive ongoing growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach and improve profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and key industry partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including client engagement, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
- Work closely with estimating and preconstruction teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
- Conduct roof assessments and gather project details to support estimating and proposal preparation.
- Track sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity to support reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure sales activities and field visits follow company safety standards and industry regulations.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales team members while fostering a customer-focused and results-driven team culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership within commercial roofing, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve high performance.
- Demonstrated success in business development, contract negotiations, and closing complex deals.
- Technical understanding of roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen) preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple sales priorities and pipelines.
- Ability to conduct roof surveys and understand technical project requirements.
- Commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting software, and standard office applications.
