Commercial Construction Project Manager
Job Description
ESCAPE THE PORTLAND HUSTLE AND BUILD SOMETHING REAL
Tired of the traffic jams, rising costs, and never-ending drizzle of Portland life? Looking for a city where parking is easy, commutes are short, and your neighbors still wave when you drive by? Welcome to Spokane; the laid-back, family-friendly, four-seasons side of the Pacific Northwest where life moves at just the right speed.
We’re Walker Construction, a trusted commercial general contractor since 1983. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding construction solutions from urban renovations and multifamily housing to industrial facilities, higher‑education campuses, and healthcare centers. We have an outstanding reputation and a portfolio that’s as diverse as our hometown.
Our work includes Spokane landmarks like the historic Fox Theater, Looff Carrousel, and the Macy’s Building, plus major projects in higher education, K-12 schools, tribal facilities, senior living, multi-family housing, affordable housing, and government buildings.
We’re proud of what we’ve built and we’re still growing. That’s why we’re looking for experienced Project Managers who want to join one of the Inland Northwest’s most respected and tight-knit construction teams.
You:
- A skilled commercial construction Project Manager ready to take on new challenges in Design-Build, GC/CM, and Hard Bid delivery methods.
- Passionate about leading teams, building relationships, and driving success - without sacrificing your sanity.
- Looking for a company that values collaboration, innovation, and growth just as much as you do.
Why Walker?
Because at Walker, we believe great work shouldn’t come at the cost of a great life. We prioritize work-life balance and offer a 4-10 work schedule. This means three-day weekends to explore, recharge, or finally start that side project you’ve been talking about. You’ll find a supportive culture, meaningful work, and a leadership team that actually walks the talk.
Relocation assistance is available. We’ll help you swap the congestion of I-84 for the open roads of I-90 East and the beauty of the Inland Northwest.
Come join one of Spokane’s leading General Contractors and help us build the next generation of remarkable projects - and a life you’ll actually love living.
