Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC or LPCC) to join our growing team. This role includes providing therapy services within a trauma-informed framework while collaborating with a supportive and engaged clinical team.
LPCCs will receive high-quality supervision and mentorship as they work toward full licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy using a trauma-informed approach
- Conduct intakes, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.)
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and support during acute distress
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with providers, schools, and referral sources to coordinate care
- Participate in supervision (for LPCCs) and ongoing professional development
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain a culturally responsive therapeutic environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Active Colorado LPC license or LPCC (or working toward licensure)
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload, documentation, and team collaboration
Preferred:
- Training in EMDR, DBT, CPT, TF-CBT, or other specialized modalities
- Experience working with trauma, families, or adolescents
- Outpatient or community mental health experience
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
Pre-Licensed (LPCC) Support
- Individual and/or group supervision toward licensure
- Gradual caseload build with mentorship and support
- Training in assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
