Work Schedule
- Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (weekends off).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients using warehouse or fulfillment services
- Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring service delivery aligns with their business goals
- Manage communications, updates, and reporting
- Coordinate with internal warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Resolve service issues or delays promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and turnover for client accounts
- Track key metrics like order accuracy, on-time shipping, and inventory accuracy
- Prepare and present performance reports to clients
- Recommend process improvements or solutions to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services (e.g., value-added packaging, kitting, expedited shipping)
- Build strong relationships to retain clients and encourage long-term partnerships
- Work closely with sales, customer service, inventory control, and shipping departments
- Support the onboarding of new clients and help integrate them into warehouse processes smoothly
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in account management, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Proven track record of managing client relationships in a warehouse, 3PL, or fulfillment environment
- Working knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and logistics workflows
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment, shipping standards, and inventory control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Ability to analyze data and prepare client performance reports
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Team-player attitude with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Negotiation and upselling skills (for growth-focused account roles)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with safety standards and warehouse compliance practices (a plus)
