Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general ultrasound imaging. This contract position is based in Winston-Salem, NC, offering a chance to contribute expertise in a high-demand acute care environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • At least 2 years of acute care experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • National certification such as ARDMS, ARRT-US, AB, or RVTS required
  • BLS certification mandatory
  • Experience with Siemens Accuson ultrasound equipment preferred
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, especially EPIC, is advantageous
  • Comfortable working with diverse patient populations in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations across Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient settings, averaging approximately 50 exams daily
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
  • Participate in weekend rotations, holiday coverage (working 75% of holidays during assignment), and on-call shifts as required
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and contribute to a professional, supportive work culture
  • Complete a two-day departmental orientation for smooth onboarding
