Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a background in accounts payable.

Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, ensuring correct coding and timely entry into financial systems.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle check runs and ensure payments are made accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues.
• Utilize software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and financial management.
• Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.
• Review and verify financial documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support month-end closing processes by providing accurate accounts payable data.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payments, invoices, and account statuses in a thorough and efficient manner.• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of coding invoices and processing payments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Understanding of financial compliance and audit requirements.
