Job Description
We areseekinga motivated and talented CivilEngineer 1to join our dynamic team. This rolewill work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design, develop, and implement civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in a supportive and professional environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assistin the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water/wastewater systems, and other infrastructure projects.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support project designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assistin the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification (preferredbut notrequired).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiencyin civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (preferred but notrequired).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Internship or co-op experience in a civil engineering environment (preferred but notrequired).
- Familiarity with project management principles and practicespreferred.
