About the Role:
The HR Director will lead the human resources function to align with the strategic goals of the organization, ensuring a productive and compliant workplace environment. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support business growth, employee engagement, and talent management. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance with labor laws. They will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and guidance on organizational development and workforce planning. Ultimately, the HR Director will drive initiatives that foster a positive culture, enhance employee experience, and contribute to the overall success of the company in Salt Lake City.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resources management, Organizational Development, or MBA.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics for workforce planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and culture.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all departments.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee performance management programs, including goal setting, evaluations, and professional development plans.
- Direct compensation and benefits administration to maintain competitive and equitable packages.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support organizational change, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and effectively communicated to all employees.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Manage HR team members, providing coaching, development, and performance oversight.

The HR Director will utilize strong leadership and communication skills daily to influence and collaborate with executives and employees at all levels. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting HR metrics and making data-driven decisions that improve workforce effectiveness.
