Shop Foreman Schaefer Mechanical Services
Location: Westminster, MD

Schaefer Mechanical Services, a leading provider of plumbing and mechanical services in the greater Westminster area, is seeking a highly organized and systems-focused Shop Foreman to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient workspace.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate parts ordering, tracking, and delivery to job sites.
- Support field teams by aligning correct parts, tools, and materials with the correct jobs on time.
- Coordinate routine and preventative maintenance for company vehicles and equipment.
- Perform light fabrication tasks and ensure tools and shop machinery are in top working order.
- Assist with project preparation and workflow, collaborating closely with project managers and field crews.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing, construction management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems (Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred).
- HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and shop equipment.
- Skilled in fabrication and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid drivers license required.
Preferred:

- Experience working in or managing a service-based construction shop.
