About Bounty Club
Bounty Club is a private club being built to set a new standard for golf and hospitality in the U.S. We're creating a member-led culture with exceptional golf, thoughtful programming, and a service experience that feels personal, effortless, and consistent. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the membership foundation of a club.
Summary:
The Membership Director is responsible for building and sustaining a world-class membership community - driving new member acquisition, stewarding prospects through the journey, and delivering a polished, high-touch experience from first introduction through long-term retention. This role is equal parts relationship builder, operator, and storyteller.
You will own the full membership pipeline, collaborate closely with leadership on membership strategy and pricing/structure, and ensure Bounty Club's membership process reflects the club's premium positioning at every touchpoint.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
Membership Sales & Growth
- Own the end-to-end membership process: prospecting, qualification, tours, follow-up cadence, closing, onboarding, and member engagement.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects (founding and future membership categories), including referrals and strategic introductions.
- Represent Bounty Club at key moments—site visits, hosted events, private dinners, golf days, and community activations.
- Create and maintain a clear weekly forecast of pipeline health, conversion, and projected initiation/dues revenue.
Member Experience & Retention
- Design and execute a "white glove" onboarding program—first 90 days and beyond—ensuring members feel known, welcomed, and connected.
- Serve as a front-line culture carrier: anticipate member needs, solve issues discreetly, and ensure service recovery is fast and thoughtful.
- Partner with operations/club leadership to translate member feedback into improvements across golf, dining, events, and amenities.
Marketing, Programming & Community
- Collaborate on events and experiences that reinforce the club's identity and drive referrals (founder events, guest days, small-format gatherings, etc.).
- Work with brand/marketing partners to ensure messaging, collateral, and digital presence support membership objectives.
- Help shape the club's "membership narrative"—what makes Bounty singular and why the right members will care.
Process, Reporting & Governance
- Maintain immaculate records in the CRM (pipeline notes, communications, tour history, next steps, and member/prospect profiles).
- Track and report membership KPIs: lead sources, conversion rates, cycle time, attrition risk signals, and referral velocity.
- Coordinate membership committee/approval workflow (where applicable) with consistency and discretion.
What Success Looks Like
- A disciplined, predictable membership pipeline with strong conversion and a premium, consistent prospect experience.
- A defined onboarding journey that drives early engagement and word-of-mouth referrals.
- High internal credibility: operations teams trust your forecasting and follow-through; leadership trusts your judgment and discretion.
- Bounty's membership brand feels "tight": the story is clear, the process is consistent, and the community is intentional.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years in high-end membership sales, private clubs, luxury hospitality, premium real estate, or relationship-driven client development.
- Proven ability to close high-consideration, high-dollar decisions with patience and precision.
- High EQ and discretion—comfortable working with high-profile individuals and sensitive situations.
- Operationally strong: CRM-native, detail-oriented, consistent follow-up, clean reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication—able to tell a compelling story without over-selling.
- Owner mindset: proactive, resourceful, and calm under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Experience in top-tier private clubs, resort clubs, or destination hospitality.
- Existing network in Nashville and/or national private club communities.
- Experience launching a new club or opening a new hospitality concept.
Location & Schedule
- Based in the Nashville area with on-site presence expected.
- Evenings/weekends required at times for events and member hosting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus performance incentives tied to membership outcomes.
- Benefits package included.
