Driver / Materials Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Driver / Materials Coordinator to support daily operations by transporting materials between warehouse locations and job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver parts and materials to field technicians at job sites
- Transport and restock inventory at storage units and remote locations
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
- Track inventory levels and assist with parts coordination via email
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure technicians have necessary materials
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transfers, and inventory
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Load and unload company vehicles as needed
- Conduct physical inventory counts of storage units and service vehicles
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards
- Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug/alcohol testing)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around petroleum products
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
