Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school in Wilkes Barre, PA, starting January 12, 2026, and continuing through June 5, 2026. This contract role offers approximately 20 hours per week, scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based speech therapy, holding a valid Pennsylvania SLP license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students.
- Provide direct speech therapy services as needed.
- Assist with make-up services for missed sessions.
- Manage case documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
