We're seeking a Certified Forklift Operator will play a vital role in supporting the warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing teams by efficiently operating forklifts to move inventory and materials. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, keen attention to equipment condition, and effective collaboration with supervisors to ensure smooth operations on the floor. The ideal candidate holds a forklift operator certification and demonstrates reliability and precision in all load-handling tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely
- Handle inventory movement and organize storage within the warehouse
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working order
- Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly
- Collaborate with the warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Forklift Operator License
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and inventory management
- Experience with equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
