Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, school-based contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students for the upcoming academic year. You’ll work on-site from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
Requirements:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing caseload details and school environments.
- Comfortable working on-site, with the possibility of transitioning to virtual (Voco) services at a later date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective therapeutic strategies and interventions.
- Attend IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for each student’s speech and language development.
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
- Remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech-language pathology.
