Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, school-based contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students for the upcoming academic year. You’ll work on-site from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.

Requirements:

Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to changing caseload details and school environments.
Comfortable working on-site, with the possibility of transitioning to virtual (Voco) services at a later date.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation of student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective therapeutic strategies and interventions.
Attend IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for each student’s speech and language development.
Contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
Remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech-language pathology.
