Summary: This position is for an Accounting Clerk who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to build core accounting skills. This role supports the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while also assisting with basic office tasks. It’s a great opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment and the chance to grow into more responsibility over time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Processing vendor invoices and verifying accuracy

· Cash receipts processing

· Phone reception

· Coordinate company travel arrangements

· Process/Pay business city tax, licenses and state sales tax

· Update customer credit limits in ERP System/Navision

· Print & mail monthly customer statements

· Retrieve company mail & packages from Post Office

· Maintain office supplies, equipment, filing systems and general organization

· Provide backup support for AP/AR as capability grows, such as accounting workflows, payment preparation and customer billing

· Participate in bi-annual inventory counts.

· Willingness to perform office duties as needed

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable or general office work.

· Working knowledge of office administrative procedures.

· Experience with Microsoft Navision or similar ERP systems is a plus.

· Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation standards.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Small business experience preferred
