Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pay: $4350/hour

Job Requirements:

Must hold valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in Special Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
Any additional state-required clearances or endorsements

Job Duties:

Teach and manage a self-contained classroom serving posthigh school students ages 1822
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address academic, vocational, and life skills goals
Provide instruction in functional academics, social skills, and transition readiness
Support students in developing independence and preparing for post-secondary opportunities
Collaborate with transition specialists, related service providers, families, and community agencies
Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
