Applicants need to be comfortable driving and acting as a vital point of contact, supporting customers by answering questions and training them in the operation and troubleshooting of rental equipment. To thrive as a Sales Support Technician at PMG Holding LLC, candidates must possess a blend of skills and qualities that align with our customer-focused, energetic culture. Strong mechanical aptitude is essential for performing minor repairs and delivering basic technical support to customers on-site. Excellent organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in managing the diverse responsibilities of the role, including loading equipment and ensuring the safe operation of box trucks throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A team-oriented mindset coupled with effective communication and interpersonal skills will help you build strong relationships with customers and support sales representatives as needed. Additionally, proficiency in using computer applications and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical documentation is vital. Supporting the sales team and assisting sales reps as needed, you will complete inspections on our rental equipment and accept projects for the sales team. Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships is key, as is proficient use of computer applications and email communication. As a team-oriented individual, you will perform additional duties as required.
We prefer candidates with a mix of sales, retail, and warehouse experience who are comfortable driving daily and traveling up to 80% of the day in a box truck. You should be comfortable working in confined spaces and possess at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A commitment to working safely and following all policies and procedures is essential. Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities are required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a can-do attitude and the ability to create win-win situations for customers and teams, are crucial. We seek individuals eager to learn, grow, and succeed. You must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be pallet jack and forklift certified. The ability to lift 75 lbs is necessary, comfortable driving daily, lifting heavy objects, and working effectively outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates must acquire and pass a Non-CDL D.O.T. Physical, which must be maintained yearly.
