About the Role

Central MEP Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This leadership role is ideal for a highly skilled electrician with strong supervisory experience in commercial construction and union job site environments.

You will oversee daily field operations, manage crews, and ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on commercial job sites

• Plan and coordinate daily work activities and manpower

• Install, maintain, and oversee commercial electrical systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Ensure compliance with NEC codes, union agreements, and safety regulations

• Coordinate with project managers and other trades on site

• Monitor productivity and maintain project schedules

• Identify and resolve field issues promptly

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience

• Previous experience as a Foreman or lead electrician required

• Strong knowledge of union job site operations

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
