Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified pharmacy technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Antioch, TN. This role offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start date.
Responsibilities include supporting a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Technicians will work in either customer service or dispensing capacities. Customer service duties involve verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians will be responsible for filling and dispensing medications. Note that the pharmacy does not utilize automation technology.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certified pharmacy technician (PTCB preferred)
- Registration with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
- Experience in either pharmacy dispensing or customer service roles
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems (experience with Wellsky is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

This contract assignment has potential to transition into a temp-to-hire role, for which full PTCB certification is required.
