Job Details
The Prevailing Wage Analyst will serve as the internal subject matter expert for prevailing wage compliance across a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment. This role exists to centralize expertise that historically lived inside processing, empowering compliance integrity and strategic influence across payroll, timekeeping, and operational leaders. The Analyst will partner with stakeholders, interpret laws, update wage determinations and system tables, and provide guidance to ensure consistent compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply prevailing wage laws and regulatory changes across states and jurisdictions.
- Own wage determinations and update centralized configuration tables in payroll systems.
- Partner with payroll processing and timekeeping teams to ensure compliance.
- Influence operating companies by translating complex regulations into actionable guidance.
- Conduct deep compliance research.
- Provide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Address nuanced areas such as NY overtime rules and state-specific requirements.
Required Experience:
- Hands-on prevailing wage compliance experience.
- 3–5+ years of relevant work experience (audit exposure preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, including Excel pivots and vlookups.
- Ability to operate independently and influence without formal authority.
Preferred Experience:
- UKG or UKG Passport experience ideal but not required
- Payroll or compliance background.
