Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
• Document care administration in patient medical records accurately and timely.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or RN Diploma.

• 36-bed critical care step-down unit.
• Care for patients post open-heart procedures, stroke, diabetes, and more.
• Average patient stay: 2-7 days.
• Team-oriented environment with strong support during high patient volumes.
• Fast-paced unit with opportunities to gain critical care experience.
