Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll work directly with students with special needs, disabilities, and behavioral challenges, helping them succeed both academically and personally.

What You'll Do:

• Offer individualized support to students, reinforcing classroom instruction and assisting with academic activities.
• Help with daily living tasks such as toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Encourage positive behavior and manage classroom routines.
• Supervise lunch, recess, transitions, and document student progress.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Pennsylvania clearances: Act 34 Criminal History, Act 151 Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprints, Act 168, and Mandated Reporter Training
• Ability to perform physical and personal care tasks
• Strong communication, adaptability, and reliability
• Comfort working independently in various school environments

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a PCA, Paraprofessional, DSP, Teacher’s Aide, or BHT
• Background in special education, autism, or behavioral support
• Familiarity with ABA strategies and classroom support techniques
• CPR/First Aid certification
