Engage in direct patient care across all age demographics, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Medical A floor at our facility is a dynamic 30-bed unit dedicated to caring for patients of all ages. Many individuals in our care are managing chronic illnesses and require comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will educate patients on various topics, from surgical expectations to post-discharge medication regimens. Those who are compassionate, team-oriented, diligent, adaptable, and enjoy serving diverse populations will find this unit to be a fulfilling environment that fosters clinical growth and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, ensuring compliance with all state board of nursing regulations.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
