An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with PACU experience to support post-anesthesia care in a reputable healthcare setting in Shawnee, KS. This contract position offers a chance to provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic environment focused on patient recovery after surgery.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assess patient condition and report changes to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Kansas or Compact RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU/Pre-Op and telemetry.
- Cardiovascular (CV) experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM), Monday to Friday with flexibility on shift days.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
- Monday through Friday (no set days)
- Occasional Friday night shifts may be required
