Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment in Seattle, WA. This contract position will cover a leave, providing essential speech-language services to children across a variety of grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the school setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document and monitor student performance and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
- Provide support and resources to families to enhance communication skills outside of therapy sessions
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred for Speech-Language Pathologists entering the field
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is highly desirable
- Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, with the ability to engage children across diverse age groups
