Overview:
At MonArk ABA, we are dedicated to empowering individuals through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We are currently seeking a dependable, proactive, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our operational needs. This position is based in our Findlay clinic and will involve occasional travel to other MonArk locations.



Job Description:

The Human Resources & Recruitment Specialist plays a vital role in supporting both the growth and operational excellence of our ABA therapy organization. This position splits time evenly between recruitment (50%) and HR operations (50%), ensuring that our clinics are fully staffed and our employees are supported through accurate payroll, compliant leave management, and smooth handling of workers’ compensation claims.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys building relationships with clinical and administrative team members alike.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (Approx. 20 hours per week)

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for RBTs, BCBAs, Clinical Supervisors, and administrative staff.

  • Partner closely with Clinical and Operational Directors to forecast hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

  • Write and post engaging job descriptions that reflect our company’s values and mission.

  • Screen, interview, and coordinate hiring steps, ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience.

  • Maintain an active candidate pipeline for high-volume roles (especially RBTs).

  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness.

HR Operations & Employee Support (Approx. 20 hours per week)

Payroll Administration

  • Process biweekly payroll for clinic and administrative staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS, updating new hires, rate changes, and terminations.

  • Support annual payroll reconciliations and tax form distributions.

Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration

  • Coordinate employee leave requests, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other company-approved leaves.

  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure clear expectations and proper documentation.

  • Track leave dates and return-to-work timelines to ensure compliance and staffing continuity.

Workers’ Compensation

  • Manage the workers’ compensation process from initial incident reporting through claim closure.

  • Liaise with insurance carriers, clinic leadership, and employees to ensure accurate documentation and communication.

  • Track and monitor claim progress and assist with return-to-work arrangements as needed.

General HR Support

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and exit interviews.

  • Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and policy updates.

  • Serve as a confidential resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
    Participate in HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.



Schedule & Travel:
Your general working hours will be 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending on the clinic's needs. Periodic travel to other MonArk ABA locations is required; mileage reimbursement is provided for approved travel.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: $53,000

Requirements & Skills

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR administration and recruitment required.

  • Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA therapy strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems, specifically ADP.

  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation processes.

  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
