7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating weekends and holidays
Compensation
-
Local Pay: $30 – $34 per hour (based on experience)

Travel Pay: $35 – $39 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility in Falmouth, MA is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a contract assignment. The technician will support hospital pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and distribution

Maintain accurate medication inventory and stock levels

Support pharmacy operations by preparing medications for inpatient use

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation of medications

Assist with automated medication dispensing systems and medication tracking

Follow hospital pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines
-
Communicate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure safe medication delivery
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Massachusetts State Pharmacy Technician Registration – Required

Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) – Required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience (within the last 3 years); 3 years preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with IV room or sterile compounding
-
Experience with automated medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis MedStation
-
Medication reconciliation experience (preferred but not required)
