Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join an acute care hospital setting. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and standards of practice. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

• Provide compassionate patient and family education and support

• Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license

  • Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

• Acute Care RN experience required

  • Experience does not need to be in Med-Surg

  • Must be within the last 3 years, or within 5 years if the candidate has extensive RN experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Excellent critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move patients/equipment up to 50 lbs
