Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting students by providing Extended School Year (ESY) physical therapy services in a district near Bellevue, WA. This is a contract role running from July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026, working on-site with a small caseload of 10-15 students. You'll help promote growth and independence in a positive setting while enjoying a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, five hours per day.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must be available for all dates and able to work on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services to students ages 3-21 as outlined in IEPs for ESY programming
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student goals
- Design interventions to improve mobility, strength, and access to curriculum
- Provide input for IEP development as needed during ESY period
