Job DescriptionThis position will provide a first point of contact for drivers based out of this specific region. Key Responsibilities
- Helping drivers with day to day issues
- Conducting weekly meetings with drivers to address issues, questions, & concerns
- Aiding in the recruiting / hiring process
- Covering routes / shuttles when needed due to call offs or openings
- Accurately logging PO’s, call offs, and pay issues
- Navigate and handle any customer issues that might arise
- Oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness
- Communicate with 3rd party vendors to ensure timeliness of repairs and maintenance
Job Requirements
- 1 year and 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- CDL Class A driver’s license 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge there of
