Assisted Living near South Salt Lake is looking for a passionate Kitchen Manager to join our interdisciplinary management team! We are a 54 unit medium sized Assisted Living Community serving Super special residents!
- Prepare and Serve Meals
- Direct and Supervise all dietary personnel and dietary functions
- Responsible for understanding and maintaining compliance that exceed health department guidelines
- Inventory and Ordering
- Menu Planning with Dietician
- Documenting resident preferences and dietary needs
- Current Food Handlers Training ( Safe-serve Management Course preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire)
- CPR/First Aid
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager that is passionate about senior living and providing a "WOW" dining experience to our residents. The ideal candidate will enjoy planning and executing special events and holiday meals and working closely with our Super Activity Director to provide a home like environment filled with fun, smiles and laughter. Willing to work closely with Executive Director, Resident Care Coordinator and facility Nurse. Attending and participating in daily stand up and regular quality assurance meetings as well as safety meetings. Candidates should thrive working with a team as well as independently and be able to lead and train kitchen staff. Knowledge with Crandall Menu System and budgeting experience preferred. Ability to work morning, afternoon and evenings as needed. Responsible for scheduling, training and employee management for the Dietary Department. Willing to work occasional weekends and rotating Manager on Duty responsibilities monthly.
