Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in MS/Tele and Long-Term Acute Care settings. The role requires working night shifts every other weekend at a specialty hospital focused on high-acuity patients. Candidates should be prepared to float within their scope of practice to assist with varying unit needs, offering flexibility and support where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care on a Long-Term Acute Care unit using Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.
- Float between like units as necessary to support facility staffing needs.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure suitable for immediate engagement; pending licenses considered.
- Previous experience in MS/Telemetry and Long-Term Acute Care nursing preferred.
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts (7:00 PM7:00 AM) and every other weekend.
- Compliance with facility policies, including contract and return staff regulations.

Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Additional Information:
- This is a contract role with guaranteed hours following a short call-off policy.
- System policy permits only one contract extension before requiring a 6-month break.
