Our client, a large, national corporation, is hiring for a Bookkeeper role. This is a new position open due to the growth of the company. You will work on a fast-paced accounting team and be involved in their daily accounting and month end closing processes. This is a permanent position that will provide someone early in their career with a broad range of accounting experience including; month end close, financial statement preparation, etc. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of $55,000 to $60,000 plus bonus, generous 401k match and a full benefits package. They work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Daily and month end accounting work; bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc.
· Assisting with financial statement preparation
· Serve as a resource for the external audit firm on matters
Your qualifications should include:
· Associate's degree required
· 3+ years of bookkeeping experience required
· Strong Excel skills are necessary for success in this position
· Must be a mature, motivated individual that can take direction and get up to speed quickly
· Prior experience with a G/L system is highly preferred
