Job DescriptionSalary:
Hunt Electric, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable individual for our DAS/Small Cell Foreman in our Technology Division. Our ideal candidate should be outgoing, service-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.
The DAS/Small Cell Foreman will oversee installation of varying types of DAS and Small Cell equipment, to include but not limited to the installation of Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5/6A cable, and other appropriate components
Major Duties:
- Lead crews for general installation of DAS and Small Cell equipment.
- Understands Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, Calendar, Word, & Scheduling Software.
- Able to complete paperwork including 6 week look aheads, daily logs, change and work orders, purchase orders, FOCUS forms, and red lines.
- Help, plan, and set up DAS/Small Cell equipment layout.
- Coordinate job with customers.
- General installation, wiring, dressing, and termination of all system cabling.
- Assist with cable testing, PIM Testing, Coax Sweeping, and upload results to project cloud.
- Understand different types of DAS equipment and connectivity
- Knowledge of carrier standards
- Ability to install carrier specific equipment 7705, DUW, Air Scale
- Know the color code both fiber & copper
- Understand all fire stopping procedures, and techniques
- Dress and terminate patch panels, Cat5e/6A.
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of In-building DAS or Small Cell installation experience with vendors; 5 years experience is preferred.
- Experience in both public safety and cellular is preferred.
- Specific knowledge of various DAS equipment platforms (SOLiD, Commscope, Corning/ Mobile Access, etc.) commissioning and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and lead crews.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold manufacture certifications (SOLiD, Commscope, Corning/Mobile Access, etc.)
- Hold certifications for PIM, RL, and fiber.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office Software (particularly Excel) and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem assessment, problem solving, and troubleshooting ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and lead crews.
- Possess high levels of energy, creativity, and enthusiasm, and be eager to learn.
- Clean driving record.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Mon Friday 6:00am 4:30pm, possible Saturdays 6:00am 2:30pm.
