Overview
The Vendor Fleet Manager position requires advanced vehicle repair and maintenance skills, management experience in an automotive dealership or fleet maintenance setting, a strong mechanical background, and excellent customer service skills.
Pay: $75,000/yr. to $80,000/yr.

Responsibilities
- Develop RFP’s in support of automotive services
- Check emails to verify and send out new list of preventative maintenance needed to meet metrics
- Verify time sheets are entered correctly
- Call vendors regarding the vehicles that are involved in accidents and vehicles that are having non-addressable work done
- Travel to vendors 2-3 times a week to inspect for any deviations in estimate for repairs. Find ways to cut cost in the repair estimate.
- Regular contact with client to resolve issues
- Travel to MSC locations and perform inspections on work that has been performed
- Guide and teach technicians ways to gain more productivity
- Assist the technicians with mechanical issues that require two people
- Verify all inventory is accurate
- Weekly team meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an automotive service or fleet maintenance setting
- Prior technician/mechanic experience
- Familiarity with key vehicle parts
- Ability to update and interact in fleet software program
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Proficient in MS(Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Strong customer service, leadership and interpersonal skills
