Staffing Specialist- Akron, OH
Salary - 45K
Shifts: Monday - Friday
The Staffing Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, client relationship management, and workforce placement activities. This position serves as the primary liaison between clients, candidates, and employees to ensure staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The Staffing Specialist partners with hiring managers and client representatives to identify talent needs, source qualified candidates, and support a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their staffing needs, including required skills, experience, and schedules.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on candidate availability and fill rates.
- Address client concerns promptly and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize various screening methods to attract qualified candidates, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and suitability for client positions.
- Build and maintain a pool of candidates to meet client demands efficiently.
Placement and Assignment Management:
- Match candidates with appropriate job opportunities based on client requirements and candidate preferences.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, including scheduling and logistics.
- Manage the assignment process, including negotiating pay rates, coordinating start dates, and ensuring compliance with client contracts and agreements.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate onboarding process for employees, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting background checks, and verifying credentials.
- Provide orientation and jo specific training information to the employees to ensure they are prepared for their assignments.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues throughout the assignment duration.
- Escalate any major concerns to the Operations Manager, and if needed, the Director of Human Resources.
- Maintain positive relationships with the employees to promote retention and engagement.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate and client interactions, including documentation of interviews, placements, and assignments.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in staffing and recruitment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the staffing function.
