About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to support one of our client organizationsa well-established, employee-focused financial services institution with a strong regional presence. This role is ideal for a commercial insurance professional who excels in client service, risk advisory, and managing a complex book of business.
As the Account Executive, you will serve as a trusted advisor to commercial clients, partnering closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service, technical expertise, and strategic guidance across all aspects of commercial insurance. Job Description
Client & Advisor Partnership

  • Manage and grow an assigned commercial lines book of business in partnership with Advisors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and carriers, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal teams.
  • Participate in renewal meetings, strategy sessions, and client presentations.

Marketing & Placement

  • Lead the marketing process: gather exposure data, prepare submissions, secure quotes, and evaluate carrier proposals.
  • Ensure all submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned with carrier requirements.
  • Present renewal strategies and coverage options to clients.
  • Prepare professional proposal documents and coordinate binding instructions.

Service & Technical Expertise

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to support efficient workflows and high service standards.
  • Delegate and oversee service tasks including endorsements, audits, policy issuance, and coverage updates.
  • Offer technical guidance on coverage interpretation, documentation, and communication standards.
  • Review policies and endorsements to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
  • Educate clients on coverage structures, exposures, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support client needs related to billing, claims, and general policy inquiries.
  • Develop customized service plans and ensure timely follow-through.

Claims Support

  • Guide clients through claim reporting and provide ongoing updates.
  • Work with Account Managers to ensure timely and accurate claim submissions.
  • Communicate with carriers and adjusters to track claim progress and resolve issues.
  • Analyze claim trends and incorporate insights into renewal and stewardship discussions.

Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain accurate client and policy records within the agency management system.
  • Utilize digital toolsincluding Epic, CSR24, and Indioto enhance client engagement.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements and assist in updating procedures.

Professional Standards & Expectations

  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Support information security and confidentiality standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 46 years of experience in commercial lines account management or related insurance roles.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Ability to participate in onsite and offsite client meetings.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, and digital service tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the financial services or banking-affiliated insurance environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, risk structures, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with CSR24, Indio, and similar client-facing digital platforms.
