Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aligned with manufacturing objectives and skill requirements.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skills assessments, and consultation with department heads.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring availability of resources, trainers, and participants.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and impact on productivity and quality.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing training.
  • Manage training budgets and vendor relationships for external training providers.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage diverse teams.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training progress.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with learning management systems (LMS) specific to manufacturing environments
  • - Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • - Fluency in a second language relevant to the manufacturing workforce (e.g., Spanish)
  • - Proven ability to develop and implement train-the-trainer programs
  • - Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) training solutions
