Job DescriptionAs a Houseman, you play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the hotel. This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by ensuring all public areas, guest spaces, and back-of-house areas meet high cleanliness standards. You will interact with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere in alignment with our property’s vision, mission, and values.
Compensation:
$18 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Assist with floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Safely handle and dispose of trash and recycling throughout hotel premises.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, guest spaces, and hotel grounds.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including exposure to outdoor weather and cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
