Job Description
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team! You will provide psychotherapy services in group, family, or individual settings.
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

Conduct mental health assessments, intakes, and clinical evaluations

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy

Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to the client's needs

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when required

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make referrals as appropriate

Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and legal requirements

Participate in supervision, training, and continuing education
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical practice

Experience with trauma-informed care

Familiarity with CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based therapies
