Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in the Ventura, CA area, working onsite within local schools. This contract position begins approximately in August 2027 and involves supporting up to 65 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of up to 65 students.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Manage documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements.
- Travel between 1 to 2 assigned schools daily to deliver services onsite.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably across multiple grade levels (prek-8th grade).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between school locations during the workday.
- Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development in a collaborative educational environment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
- Onsite work throughout the contract duration.
