Schedule: 4:30pm - 2:00am
Production Technician/Operator roles focus on safely operating, setting up, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to meet quality and productivity targets (OEE). Key responsibilities include loading materials, performing in-process inspections, troubleshooting minor machine issues, and documenting work in compliance with GMP/SOP standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machines (e.g., packers, welders).
- Quality Control: Conduct routine product inspections to ensure specifications are met.
- Documentation: Complete production logs, batch records, and downtime reports using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintenance: Perform minor adjustments, preventative maintenance, and changeovers to maintain efficiency.
- Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (5S).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment, ideally with machinery.
- Technical Skills: Ability to make mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot, read, and understand technical drawings.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to lbs and stand for long periods.
