Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE, for an Electrician at Airlite Plastics Co. The Electrician will perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on equipment and systems throughout the facility. Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting machine uptime and reliability. The position requires ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes and working closely with other teams to optimize plant operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Electrical Work and general Electricity principles
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and the ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues
- Experience in Troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
- Completion of an Electrical Certification or relevant technical training is required
- Relevant licensure or certification, such as a journeyman or master electrician license, is a plus; or 4 years of industrial electrical experience.
