Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic school setting. This role involves travel to various educational institutions in and around Sun Prairie, WI, providing specialized instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique requirements.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure effective support and progress monitoring.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to address academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students abilities and interests.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with children with disabilities in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviors and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between schools serving special education students.
