Intermountain Erectors is seeking skilled and motivated Structural Steel Ironworkers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience in structural steel erection, welding, and working with various materials used in steel construction. This role requires precision, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform welding using appropriate techniques and procedures
- Utilize power tools and equipment for steel erection
- Work with structural & miscellaneous steel
- Follow established welding codes and quality standards
- Read and understand erection schematics and job plans
- Maintain safe work practices at all times
Experience
- One year plus of structural steel or related experience preferred
- Pay dependent on experience (DOE)
Required Skills
- Proficiency in structural steel erection
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in steel construction
- Ability to work safely with structural steel components
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Helpful Skills
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Forklift operation experience
- Welding certifications
