Position Summary
The Healthcare Coordination Coordinator (HCC) ensures that all healthcare needs for BSTN’s
residential clients are met through effective communication, organization, and oversight. The HCC
serves as the bridge between medical providers, caregivers, and management — ensuring that every
client has a healthcare provider of choice, that prescribed treatments and medications are properly
implemented, and that follow-ups and documentation are consistently completed. This position focuses
on coordination and oversight, not direct medical care, and is best suited for someone experienced in
medical office administration, patient coordination, or healthcare support roles.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or certification in healthcare administration, medical assisting, or related
field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a medical office, healthcare coordination, or patient
scheduling role.
• Ability to read and understand prescriptions, treatment orders, and medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced
environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and documentation tools.
