Job Location: onsite in Kent, WA
Job Salary: up to $140k DOE + bonus

Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Sustaining Engineer to support the continuous improvement and long-term sustainability of our mechanical products. This role involves working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure our products meet performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams to improve existing mechanical designs and enhance product performance.
- Conduct FEA analysis to evaluate product designs under various conditions and optimize for manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and engineering change orders.
- Support root cause analysis and failure analysis to resolve product issues and implement corrective actions.
- Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in testing and validation of new designs and modifications to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in mechanical design.
- Strong understanding of Design For Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with FEA analysis and its application in product design.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and manufacturing processes.
